How does our team provide humanitarian aid?

You First Gaza team implements humanitarian projects itself, taking the responsibility to deliver aid to in-need families in any place in besieged Gaza Strip.

The main tasks of our team include assessing the humanitarian situation of needy families and identifying the most urgent needs. We also monitor the proper implementation of projects. At the end of a humanitarian operation, our team is involved in ensuring that programs can progressively take over from the relief aid.

What are the underlying principles and criteria in providing humanitarian assistance?

Humanitarian aid is a concrete expression of our team’s values: solidarity with the most vulnerable populations, respect for human dignity, equality, and tolerance.

You First Gaza team has a longstanding commitment to help the victims of humanitarian crises. Since 2016, our team has provided relief that goes directly to people in distress due to repeated wars and the ongoing siege on Gaza Strip.

Our team principles concerning humanitarian aid clearly state that the sole aim is to prevent or relieve human suffering and that humanitarian aid decisions “must be taken impartially and solely according to the victims’ needs and interests”. You First Gaza humanitarian aid “must not be guided by, or subject to, political considerations”.

Support us

One of the goals of You First Gaza is “to solve Palestinian problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character.”

The YFG first did this in the aftermath of the deterioration of the Gaza Strip’s living circumstances due to the 4 Israeli aggressions, which helped to feed poor families and others.

The international community now relies upon us to coordinate humanitarian relief of emergencies due to Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Feeding the Hungry

You First Gaza Team provides relief to thousands of poor families, victims of Gaza’s siege, wars. It is responsible for mobilizing food and funds for transport for all large-scale refugee-feeding operations in Gaza Strip.
