You First Gaza provides vegetable parcels to needy in Gaza

You First Gaza (YFG) is dedicated to providing relief to those suffering from poverty in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Our team handed out food parcels containing onion, cucumber, tomato, zucchini, potato, and pepper.

Each pack contains enough vegetables to provide 2 meals a day to a family of up to five people for up to one week.

On Monday, 18 May 2020, the YFG team could distribute 20 vegetables parcels for poor families in the Khan Younis refugee camp south of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Gaza Strip, the most densely populated area in the world, is still under immoral and illegal siege for more than 14 years imposed by Israeli occupation forces.

It is estimated that more than half of the population in Gaza live in poverty, with almost 62.2 percent of families struggling to obtain food on a daily basis.

The Palestinian Human Rights Organizations Council (PHROC), the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO), and the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) urge the international community to intervene and support the civilian population in the Gaza Strip as it faces a potential humanitarian catastrophe.
